TOPIC 

ROMAN AND ITALY

We will explore the impact that the Romans had on Britain, invasions, Roman roads, Boudicca and the differences between our lives and the Romans' lives. In the second part of the term we will look at Italy, it's location and physical features. The children will learn about Pompeii and Italian culture. We finish the term by heading to the Verulamium Museum in St Albans for an ancient artefact session and to discover some wonderful mosaics. 

This term the Year 4 children will be attending Caldecotte for some team-building skills on both land and water.
