TOPIC 

The rainforest and the Mayans.

An exciting topic ahead of us! The children will learn about the layers of the rainforest and the animals that live there. We have some great art lessons planned that link to the rainforest, and we'll be taking some inspiration from Henri Rousseau. Later in the year we focus on the Mayans. We'll learn about their daily life and compare it to ours – we think it will be very different! 

The children will be taking part in swimming at Hartwell Leisure in Cranfield this term in PE. Once swimming is completed, we will be dancing and practising our netball skills! 

Year 4 children – the golden number for TTRS is 21 minutes!
