TOPIC 

THE WILD WEST & NORTH AMERICA

We will explore the Wild West! The children will be learning about the uses of buffalo and the Homesteaders Act in 1862. After this we will study the map of North America, learning about the different states, important landmarks and natural phenomena. Our art work will be linked to our topic, learning about John Sargent and Frank Lloyd Wright. In our DT lessons we will be creating our own totem poles!

The children will have swimming lessons at Kempston Pool for 5 weeks.
